Product Information

This tester verifies whether electrical accessories such as EV charging interfaces, industrial plugs, sockets and couplers can withstand mechanical, electrical and thermal stresses generated during normal operation without excessive wear or other detrimental defects, so as to validate their reliability.

Electric vehicle charging connectors, industrial plugs, sockets and couplers.

Test Principle

Driven by a servo motor mechanism, the equipment performs repeated linear insertion & withdrawal cycles on test samples. It supports external electrical load for make-and-break testing. Parameters including power-on/power-off duration, test speed, stroke and angle can all be preset via the touchscreen.

Structure & Features

Adopts an integrated machine frame driven by servo motor with precision reducer transmission. Equipped with a color touchscreen featuring user-friendly operation and powerful digital display functions, plus an intelligent PLC control system.
It comes with 3-axis adjustable fixtures, perfectly suited for lifespan testing of charging gun connectors.

Operation Mode Manual or program-controlled operation
Functions Capable of simulating normal operation of charging interfaces. It can integrate insertion/withdrawal cycling and unlocking/locking of the mechanical locking device, or run separate individual tests. Test speed, test duration and cycle counts are fully programmable.
Driving Mode Servo motors drive insertion/withdrawal and rotational shaking movements; auxiliary air cylinders control opening and closing of the interlock switch mechanism.
Specimen Fixture & Clamping Method

Mechanical clamping fixtures with 3-axis X/Y/Z adjustable structure. The clamping position can be freely adjusted, compatible with GB, US and EU standard AC & DC EV charging connectors.

Automatic Rotation Function Built-in automatic turnover mechanism at the charging gun clamping station, supporting 90° rotation. The holding duration after rotation is adjustable from 0 to 600 seconds.
Test Cycles Programmable range: 0 ~ 999,999 cycles. The machine will stop automatically once the preset cycle target is reached.
Make-and-Break Contact Duration Adjustable from 1 to 999.9 seconds. Per standard requirement, the electrical contact holding time shall be no less than 2s and no more than 4s.
Insertion & Withdrawal Rate Programmable range: 0–10 cycles per minute (equivalent to 3.75 cycles/min or 7.5 strokes/min)
Test Stroke Adjustable from 0–150 mm (the gap between test plug and receptacle shall be ≥50 mm as required)
Test Speed 0–850 mm/s, directly configurable via the touchscreen
Force Value Display Equipped with a 100kg range force sensor to monitor force in real time. It can generate force-time curves, display the maximum insertion force, maximum withdrawal force and real-time force value.

Locking Device Features automatic pressing function for mechanical locking mechanisms to simulate normal operating conditions.
